As part of the Facility for Infrastructure Development (ORIOprogramme) in developing countries financed by the Dutch Government, the 9.5million EUR (10.9 million USD) project will deliver sanitation to residents andindustries whose wastewater is currently discharged untreated, resulting insevere pollution.
A sewage plant will be built using the company’sbio-technology which is used in some 1,500 wastewater treatment plants aroundthe world.
It would have a capacity of almost 30,000 cu.m a day, thecompany said.
The company will also build four pumping stations, install100km of pipes and connect 15,000 households and over 1,000 small- andmedium-sized enterprises.
During the operation and maintenance phase, it will providetechnical assistance and training to BUSADCO workers.-VNA
