Cambodian National Assembly Chairman to visit Vietnam

Chairman of the Cambodian National Assembly (NA) Heng Samrin will lead a delegation from the Cambodian legislature to pay an official visit to Vietnam from January 4-5.

The visit will be made at theinvitation of Vietnamese NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, the NA’sCommittee on Foreign Affairs announced on January 2.

During thevisit, Chairman Heng Samrin, who is also President of the NationalCouncil of the Solidarity Front for the Development of the CambodianMotherland, and the Cambodian delegation will attend a ceremony to markthe 35 th anniversary of the victory of the southwest border defencewar and the joint victory of Vietnam and Cambodia over the Khmer Rougegenocidal regime (January 7).-VNA

The state visit to Belarus by Party General Secretary To Lam, his spouse, and the high-level Vietnamese delegation marks a new impetus for strengthening and expanding bilateral ties. NA endorses 10% preferential tax rate for all press agencies

To affirm the Party and State’s commitment to supporting the press, the NA Standing Committee has adopted the government’s proposal to apply a uniform preferential corporate tax rate of 10% to all types of press. This move aligns with the current tax incentives for print newspapers.
