Vietnam welcomes Russian President V. Putin's proposal on May 11 to resume direct talks with Ukraine, Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang said on May 12 in response to a reporter's question about Vietnam's reaction to the proposal.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam welcomes Russian President V. Putin's proposal on May 11 to resume direct talks with Ukraine, Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang said on May 12 in response to a reporter's question about Vietnam's reaction to the proposal.

Vietnam's consistent stance is to support the resolution of disputes and disagreements through peaceful means, including dialogue, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter, taking into account the legitimate interests of all parties involved for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, she said./.

NA Standing Committee inspects election preparations in Ca Mau
