Mekong Delta Industry and Trade Fair.
The event kicked off in the Xa No Park, Vi Thanh city in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang on June 14.
The booths feature goods from industry, agriculture, food, textiles, fashion, electronics, telecommunications and mixed consumer goods.
Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said that the fair is part of series of activities within the ‘National Industry Promotion 2015’ programme by the ministry.
This is a good opportunity for enterprises to develop their distribution networks, learn from each other, gather market information on consumer tastes and preferences to improve products and services and seek partners, Anh said.
On the occasion, corporations and companies donated 15 billion VND (690,000 USD) to the Hau Giang Social Welfare Fund.
The fair will last until June 20.-VNA
