The official said that Dong Nai’s economy is expected to develop well, leading in aviation economics, high-tech industries, science and technology, and innovation.

The economic and social infrastructure, along with urban infrastructure need to be developed in a synchronised, modern, smart, and sustainable way, focusing on developing an airport and world-class eco-urban areas.

Attention will also paid to preserving and promoting cultural identity, protecting the ecological environment, responding to climate change, firmly ensuring national defence and security, he went on.

The average growth of the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) during the 2021-2030 period is expected to expand by 10% per year. The average GRDP per capita is projected to reach approximately 14,650 USD by 2030.

They also want to develop industrial parks in line with carbon emission reduction goals, attract industrial project investment with high added value, new technologies, and environmentally friendly practices, integrated into global value chains, Duc said.

It will also establish an innovation centre, a concentrated information technology area, and digital transformation projects, as well as specialised education-training complexes in the Southeast region.
