Da Nang (VNA) - Furama ResortDa Nang, the 5-star beach resort in central Vietnam, has been named as the‘most favoured hotel of 2017’ by JALPAK, a renowned Japanese travel agency.

The annual was first introduced in 2014 by JALPAKto select most favoured restaurants and hotels by a poll among tourists.

The Furama resort was one of five hotels in Asia that won the award from JALPAK.

General Manager of Furama Resort Da Nang Matthias Wiesmann said Japan was one of the top three tourism markets for thebeach resort.

He said the resort offered unique servicesfor tourists from Japan by employing Japanese staff and exchanging cuisineprogrammes among Vietnamese and Japanese chefs.

The resort was one of the largest importersin central Vietnam of Kobe beef from Japan, he said.

Earlier, the Furama resort won two othertrophies – the Luxury Ocean View Resort and the Luxury Wedding Destination – atthe prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards in St. Moritz, Switzerland.-VNA
