FWD employees "share happiness" with elderly

As part of its first anniversary celebrations, FWD Vietnam Life Insurance Company Ltd gave gifts to inmates at the Thanh Loc Paralyzed Elder Nursing Centre in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 12 and the Centre for Social Protection No 4 in Ba Vi, Hanoi and its staff spent time with them and did voluntary work.

HCM City (VNA) - As part of its first anniversary celebrations, FWDVietnam Life Insurance Company Ltd gave gifts to inmates at the Thanh LocParalyzed Elder Nursing Centre in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 12 and the Centrefor Social Protection No 4 in Ba Vi, Hanoi and its staff spent time with themand did voluntary work.

As part of the company’s“Happiness shared, Happiness fulfilled” initiative, its employees and agentsspent an afternoon distributing the gifts, cutting seniors’ hair and cleaningtheir sleeping quarters.

They also hosted a‘birthday’ party to celebrate the seniors’ longevity and express appreciationfor their lives.

Anantharaman Sridharan,FWD’s general director, said: "I’m moved to see our employees, agents andthe social community come together so passionately to support this meaningfulactivity.

“FWD wants to inspirepeople to share happiness with others.”

The campaign was shared onvarious social networks and quickly received supportive responses from thecommunity with more than 34,000 wishes sent to the elderly.

"Not Alone" Campaign: Over 8 million students, teachers, parents equipped with online safety skills

Spring flower fair to open in February

The fair will feature flowers, ornamental plants, bonsai, orchids, peach and apricot blossoms, kumquat trees, along with Tet decorations such as lanterns, folk paintings, ceramics, handicrafts and feng shui items.
