Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, said that despite strong growth, businesses must look beyond traditional markets such as ASEAN, the US, the EU, China and Japan by diversifying destinations to sustain export momentum. He stressed that the fair offers a valuable opportunity for firms to connect with partners, importers, distributors and commercial counsellors.

The four-day event also provides a platform for businesses to promote their brands, introduce products to partners and consumers in Hanoi, and encourage the public and visitors to purchase and support trusted Vietnamese goods.

The fair underlined the city’s support for the business community in boosting trade promotion, taking advantage of free trade agreements, diversifying and expanding export markets, and moving towards sustainable growth and deeper integration./.
