HCM City to host major int’l fairs on logistics, healthcare

HCM City (VNA) – The third Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (VILOG 2025) and the 23rd Vietnam International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Vietnam Medipharm Expo) will take place concurrently from July 31 to August 2 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The events are co-organised by the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association, VINEXAD, and other partners.

VILOG 2025 is expected to expand significantly in scale and quality, with stronger international participation and enhanced networking opportunities. It aims to promote green and digital transformation in the logistics sector.

The event will also feature specialised seminars on green logistics financing, the impact of AI on the industry, and solutions for Vietnam’s export logistics.

A new segment, VILOG TALK, will offer a platform for exhibitors to present technologies and services, while a buyer-matching program will foster practical business connections.

The exhibitions will run alongside the Cold Chain Expo and Smart Warehouse Expo, providing a broader platform for collaboration in supply chains. Organisers emphasised that digital and green transformation are essential for Vietnamese businesses to remain competitive and aligned with global sustainable development trends./.

Regarding the ongoing negotiations on a Reciprocal Trade Agreement between the two countries, he emphasised that Vietnam remains consistent in its approach to the talks with the US, aiming for a bilateral agreement based on respect for sovereignty, independence, political system, harmonisation and balance of interests, as well as in line with international commitments and the development level of each country.
