HCM City (VNA) – Two major international exhibitions, the 21st Autotech & Accessories 2025 and the inaugural Cons & Trans 2025, opened in Ho Chi Minh City on May 22, spotlighting advancements in the automotive, motorcycle, electric vehicle, and construction industries.
Co-hosted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Asia Trade Fair & Business Promotion JSC (ATFA), and a coalition of domestic and foreign trade promotion groups and industry associations, the four-day event features nearly 500 booths of about 400 companies from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan (China), and Vietnam.
VCCI Vice President Vo Tan Thanh said the exhibitions serve as more than a display of cutting-edge products, technologies, and services. They include networking sessions, industry seminars, and direct exchanges with consumers, experts, and businesses, all designed to strengthen Vietnam’s industrial sector and foster global business connections.
Autotech & Accessories 2025 provides a platform for manufacturers, distributors, and tech solution providers to tap into new markets, forge partnerships, and drive technology transfer amid Vietnam’s rapid economic transformation. Here, the Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM) rolls out its lineup of trucks, tractors, engines, and automotive parts. Nearby, the Motor Image Vietnam (MIV) showcases standout Subaru models like the Forester, Crosstrek, and Outback.
Making its debut, Cons & Trans 2025 turns the spotlight on innovations in construction machinery, specialised vehicles, and transport infrastructure, aiming to boost industry connectivity and corporate competitiveness. Key exhibitors include the Saigon Transport Mechanical Corporation (SAMCO) and Thaco Trailers, a manufacturer of semi-trailers and heavy-duty components under THACO Industries.
ATFA Chairwoman Nguyen Minh Ngoc announced that the events will feature a smart electric car model race staged in partnership with top engineering and automotive universities, saying that it is exciting for tech-savvy students to show off their creativity and technical skills.
A parallel seminar on innovations in construction and transport infrastructure also promises to draw policymakers, industry leaders, and businesses to chart strategic directions for the sector’s future./.
