HCM City (VNA) –
Businesses fromthe Japanese prefecture of Hokkaido are keen to cooperate with Vietnamesepartners in Ho Chi Minh City to exchange human resources in nursing,agricultural machinery manufacturing, agricultural production and trade.

Vice Governor of Hokkaido Tsuji Yasuhiroexpressed his wish at a meeting with Chairman of the municipal People’sCommittee Nguyen Thanh Phong in HCM City on November 17.

He said Hokkaido wants to boost cooperation withVietnam in general and HCM City in particular, especially in such potentialareas as agriculture, trade, seafood and tourism.

The prefecture’s administration and businessassociation have proposed the launch of a direct air route between Hokkaido andVietnam with the hope of promoting the bilateral trade and tourism relations,he said. 

Hokkaido considers HCM City a potential partnerand wants to introduce high-quality agri-products to the local customers, headded.

Phong recommended the Japanese prefectureenhance cooperation programmes with the city such as exchanging apprentices andhighly-skilled workers as Hokkaido small-and medium-sized enterprises arefacing a shortage of human resources due to the country’s aging population. 

He believed that Hokkaido’s high qualityfarm produce will soon win customer confidence in HCM City.-VNA

Taxes on real estate based on time property is held not feasible: Justice Ministry

Ministry proposes developing green e-commerce law
