Hung Yen hosts art show, fireworks for 80th National Day

To create a joyful and festive atmosphere, fostering solidarity and public confidence in the leadership of the Party and State, the People’s Committee of Hung Yen province has approved the proposal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organise an art performance and fireworks display in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).

Hung Yen (VNA) - To create a joyful and festive atmosphere, fostering solidarity and public confidence in the leadership of the Party and State, the People’s Committee of Hung Yen province has approved the proposal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organise an art performance and fireworks display in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).

Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will lead the organisation of the art programme, scheduled from 20:00–21:00 on September 2, 2025 at Nguyen Van Linh Square, Pho Hien ward, and Ky Ba Park, Tran Lam ward.

The People’s Committees of Pho Hien and Tran Lam wards will coordinate with the provincial Military Command and Police to organise the fireworks display immediately after the performance.

The fireworks will take place at 21:00 on September 2, 2025, at the same locations. The provincial People’s Committee has directed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead, in collaboration with relevant departments and units, in preparing plans for the event and guiding procedures for fireworks in line with current regulations.

The People’s Committees of Pho Hien and Tran Lam wards are tasked with mobilising funding from various sources for the fireworks, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring financial settlement without arrears.

They will also work closely with the provincial Military Command and Police to plan safe transport and execution of the fireworks following the performance. The provincial Military Command and Police will cooperate closely with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committees of Pho Hien and Tran Lam wards in preparing detailed plans for both the performance and fireworks.

They will mobilise forces to maintain order, ensure absolute safety, and prepare fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue measures. The Department of Health will assign medical teams and ambulances on standby to respond promptly to any incidents during the event.

Relevant departments and units are required to perform their assigned functions and coordinate closely with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committees of Pho Hien and Tran Lam wards to ensure successful implementation./.
