Hanoi (VNA) – Nhan dan (People) Newspaper, in coordination with the VCCorp Joint Stock Company, on December 16 held the award ceremony for the Human Act Prize 2025, a national honour recognising outstanding initiatives for the community, with the presence of Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
Now in its third season, the Human Act Prize 2025 carries the theme “Persevering in Service”, continuing its mission to inspire society and honour community-oriented actions that generate far-reaching and lasting impact. The prize has steadily established itself as a meaningful platform that celebrates not momentary achievements but sustained dedication to the common good.
Addressing the award ceremony, Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan dan Newspaper, Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, and head of the organising board, emphasised that the moment of receiving the prize is not an end point, but a beginning.
This award exists not merely to honour an individual or an organisation, but to inspire many others to open a new journey in which people choose to stand together and become part of meaningful community action, he stressed.
This year, five projects were honoured in the main “inspirational initiative” category: "To mau ky uc – Skyline" (Colouring Memories – Skyline), "Mai am gia dinh Vietnam" (Vietnamese Family Shelter), Hair Library, "Tinh nguoi trong con song" (Humanity amid the waves), and Lighting a Match.
Notably, a special category titled “Silent Service” was introduced to commend individuals and projects whose long-term contributions have created positive impact and strong inspiration for the community, yet remain largely unseen. This addition reflects the open and humane spirit of the Human Act Prize, ensuring that those who quietly dedicate themselves to society are not overlooked./.
