Lam Dong (VNA) – Lam Dong province will be a vibrant cultural and tourism destination as the Lam Dong Balloon and Art Festival 2025 takes place from October 24-26 at Lam Vien square and the Da Lat Opera House.

The large-scale festival combines hot air balloon performances, live music, and modern technology, promising unique experiences for visitors and paving the way for new cultural-tourism events in the locality.

The highlight will be the spectacle of 20 colourful hot air balloons, including three large-size balloons, 12 mid-size, and five decorative ones displayed on the ground. All will be staged at Lam Vien square, known as the “heart” of the flower city. Dozens of balloons glowing at sunrise and sunset are expected to create a breathtaking sight and an irresistible check-in spot for tourists.

Alongside the balloons, a special art programme titled “The Sunrise Legacy” will be staged at the Da Lat Opera House, a modern venue equipped with international-standard sound and lighting. The concert will gather many renowned Vietnamese artists, including composer Duc Tri and singers Le Quyen, Ta Minh Tam, Vo Ha Tram, and Phuong Vy.

Beyond the main events, the festival will also feature outdoor art exhibitions, street performances, and dedicated spaces for balloon-themed photography, creating a lively and immersive atmosphere for visitors.

According to the organisers, the Lam Dong Balloon and Art Festival 2025 is envisioned not only as an entertainment event but also as a platform to promote local tourism and strengthen the province’s cultural brand./.
