Male passenger caught with weapons at Tan Son Nhat Airport

A male passenger has been caught illegally carrying weapons at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on December 25.

HCM City (VNA) – A male passenger has beencaught illegally carrying weapons at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HoChi Minh City on December 25.

The airport customs force found three handguns, two daggersand a pair of handcuffs hidden in the luggage of the passenger, who hails fromthe southern province of Long An.

The 48-year-old man arrived on flight NH833 fromthe US to Vietnam via Tokyo (Japan).

The Tan Son Nhat customs office is coordinating withrelevant agencies to investigate into the case.-VNA
