- Ship 09 of Brigade 171 and a working delegation from the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) are taking part in the second ASEAN–US Maritime Exercise (AUMX-2), which opened on December 10 in Indonesia.

In his opening remarks, Lieut. Gen. - New direct flights from New Delhi are paving the way for Phu Quoc to be the leading destination for Indian travellers.

Phu Quoc International Airport welcomed over 180 Indian travellers on a new direct flight from New Delhi on December 10. This marked the start of a month-long flight series that will link the two destinations and bring a fresh wave of visitors to Vietnam’s pristine island. Travellers from India can now access experiences found nowhere else, from nightly fireworks and the world’s longest three wire cable car to iconic landmarks in southern Phu Quoc. Read full story

- The Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) has reported that total auto sales of its members in the first 11 months of 2025 hit 328,669 vehicles, up 6.5% year-on-year.

Notably, while the sales of domestically assembled vehicles fell 3%, and of imported completely built-unit (CBU) cars rose 17%, reflecting a shift in market preferences and supply. Read full story

- VinFast announced on December 10 that it delivered 23,186 electric vehicles (EVs) in November, setting another monthly sales record and reaffirming its market-leading position with 147,450 units handed over since the beginning of the year.
