– Party General Secretary To Lam has called on forces participating in security and order protection at the grassroots level to continue working closely with local Party committees and authorities, aiming to build a strong, widespread, and effective network capable of meeting operational requirements and tasks.

The Party chief made the remarks at a meeting in Hanoi on November 11 with 70 exemplary individuals and collectives from forces joining security and order protection at the grassroots level nationwide. Read full story

– Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception in Hanoi on November 11 for Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of the Solomon Islands Peter Shanel Agovaka, who is on a three-day official visit to Vietnam.

PM Chinh welcomed Agovaka’s first official visit to Vietnam, marking the highest-level visit between the two countries since diplomatic relations were established in 1996, and expressed confidence that it will usher in a new, dynamic, and substantive phase in bilateral relations. Read full story

– Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has expressed his hope that Lao Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Phosay Sayasone will continue close coordination with Vietnam to further deepen the special relationship between the two countries, ensuring increasingly practical and effective cooperation between the relevant ministries.

At a reception in Hanoi on November 11 for the Lao official and delegation, who are on a working trip to Vietnam and attending the 9th Vietnam – Laos ministerial conference on labour, the PM voiced his delight that the unique cooperation between the two neighbours has continued to grow strongly and substantively. – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has demanded that the problems of the European Commission (EC)'s particular concern must be thoroughly addressed within one week so that the "yellow card" warning over illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing is lifted this year.

He made the request while chairing the 21st meeting of the National Steering Committee for IUU fishing combat on November 11. The weekly meeting was connected with 21 coastal provinces and cities via teleconferencing. Read full story

– Vietnam treasures its relations with South Pacific countries, including the Solomon Islands, a nation with an important geostrategic position and abundant maritime resources, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung said at his talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of the Solomon Islands Peter Shanel Agovaka, who is on an official visit to Vietnam from November 11–13.

Trung commended the Solomon Islands’ open foreign policy of “befriending all countries” and expressed gratitude for its support of Vietnam’s candidacy for the United Nations Human Rights Council for the 2026–2028 term, as well as its delegation’s participation in the signing ceremony of the UN Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi Convention). – A ceremony was held in Hanoi on November 11 to launch a book about the People’s Public Security force by late Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

– Young officers from Vietnam and Cambodia on November 11 participated in various joint activities at the Moc Bai International Border Gate in the southern province of Tay Ninh of Vietnam, as part of the second Vietnam – Cambodia Border Defence Friendship Exchange.

– The Vietnam Disaster and Dyke Management Authority has received emergency relief supplies from the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre) to support individuals affected by recent floods in the central city of Da Nang.

The authority said on November 11 that a relief flight landed at Da Nang International Airport at noon the same day, marking the first of three shipments from the AHA Centre. The consignment includes 3,648 family kits, 1,999 kitchen sets, and 3,000 personal hygiene kits, with an estimated value of over 264,000 USD. Read full story./.

The dispatch states that in implementing Conclusion No. 18-KL/TW dated April 2, 2026 of the 14th Party Central Committee on the 2026–2030 socio-economic development plan, national finance, public debt management and medium-term public investment, linked to the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth, the Government on April 29 issued 11 resolutions on cutting, decentralising and simplifying administrative procedures, business conditions, and conditional business lines. The Prime Minister subsequently directed ministries, agencies and localities to implement these resolutions.
