NA makes decisions on personnel matters

Hanoi (VNA) – The Standing Board of the National Assembly (NA)'s Party Committee and the NA Standing Committee on September 29 convened a conference to consider and make decisions on personnel matters.

Based on the Law on Organisation of the NA, relevant legal provisions, the opinions of competent authorities, and related submissions, the NA Standing Committee adopted a resolution on the appointment of Le Quang Manh, member of the Party Central Committee, the NA Party Committee’s Standing Board and the NA Standing Committee, and Standing Vice Chairman of the NA Committee for Economic and Financial Affairs, as Standing Vice Chairman of the NA Office. He was assigned to direct and manage the activities of the office and to perform the duties of the NA Secretary General – NA Office Chairman until another person is assigned to the position.

The Standing Committee also issued a resolution on the appointment and approval of Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee and deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs, who now serves as Standing Vice Chairman of the NA’s Committee for Deputy Affairs for the 15th tenure.

Meanwhile, Le Quang Huy, member of the NA Standing Committee and Chairman of the NA Committee for Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th tenure, was allowed to step down from October 1, 2025 at his personal request.

In addition, the NA Standing Committee assigned Le Minh Hoan, member of the Party Central Committee and NA Vice Chairman, to take charge of and direct the operations of the NA Committee for Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th tenure until the committee chairperson is appointed./.

PM directs tasks to boost economic growth
