Official uniforms for SEA Games 33 delegation revealed

Hanoi (VNA) - The official uniforms of the Vietnamese sports delegation to the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) were unveiled at a ceremony held on November 29 in Hanoi.

The collection features high-quality and innovative materials designed to enhance athletes’ speed and agility in every movement. At SEA Games 33, every Vietnamese athlete wearing this uniform will carry not only national pride but also the strong energy and support of millions of fans.

Addressing the event, Director of the Sports Authority of Vietnam (SAV) and Vice President of Vietnam Olympic Committee Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, emphasised that over many SEA Games events, Dong Luc JSC has worked diligently and responsibly, collaborating closely with experts, coaches, and athletes to select materials, designs, and sewing technologies.

Every effort is focused on one goal - providing athletes with comfort and confidence to achieve their best performance at the regional stage, he said.

The SAV is confident that, with thorough and careful preparations, the Vietnamese sports delegation will enter the SEA Games with determination, confidence, and a strong desire to win, he stressed.

SEA Games 33 will be held in Thailand from December 9 to 20. The Vietnamese sports delegation will comprise 1,165 members, including 841 athletes, completing in 47 sports and sub-disciplines, out of a total of 66 at the tournament.

Headed by Nguyen Hong Minh, Deputy Director of the SAV, the delegation aims to win 91 to 110 gold medals, striving to maintain a position among the top performers at the games.

The first Vietnamese teams will depart for Thailand starting December 1, and the final group of athletes is expected to return home on December 21, one day after the closing ceremony./.
