Reference exchange rate up 6 VND on March 4

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,052 VND/USD on March 4, up 6 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,052 VND/USD on March 4, up 6 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,305 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,799 VND/USD.

At 8:25, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks saw mixed fluctuations.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,004 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,304 VND/USD, both up 6 VND from the March 3 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV cut the buying rate by 5 VND to 26,010 VND/USD and raising the selling rate by 15 VND to 26,304 VND/USD./.
