Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,046 VND/USD on March 3, up 8 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,298 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,794 VND/USD.

At 8:10, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks saw increases.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,998 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,298 VND/USD, up 128 VND and 48 VND, respectively.

Meanwhile, the rates at BIDV stood at 26,015 VND/USD and 26,289 VND/USD, up 145 VND and 39 VND./.
