Reference exchange rate down 6 VND on February 26

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,051 VND/USD on February 26, down 6 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,051 VND/USD on February 26, down 6 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,304 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,798 VND/USD.

At 8:20, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks saw significant decreases.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,910 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,290 VND/USD, down 79 VND and 19 VND, respectively, from the February 25 morning session.

BIDV also cut the buying rate by 103 VND to 25,910 VND/USD and the selling rate by 19 VND to 26,290 VND/USD./.
