Retail petrol prices rise in latest adjustment

Under the latest adjustment, E5RON92 increased by 100 VND, now capped at 18,439 VND per litre (0.71 USD), while RON95-III rose by 35 VND to a maximum of 18,880 VND per litre.

Hanoi (VNA) – Retail prices of major petroleum products rose from 15:00 on February 5, following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Under the latest adjustment, E5RON92 increased by 100 VND, now capped at 18,439 VND per litre (0.71 USD), while RON95-III rose by 35 VND to a maximum of 18,880 VND per litre.

The price of Diesel 0.05S rose 280 VND to 18,453 VND per litre, kerosene increased 214 VND to 18,390 VND per litre, while fuel oil 180CST 3.5S edged up 517 VND to 15,150 VND per kg.

In this adjustment, the ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund for any of the fuel categories.

Since the beginning of 2026, domestic fuel prices have undergone six adjustments, with the RON95 petrol price recording three increases and three decreases, and diesel price rising four times and falling twice./.
