Hanoi (VNA) - The Spring Concert 2026 themed “Vietnam–China: Friendly Neighbours” was held on the evening of February 7 at the Ho Guom Theatre in Hanoi to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 76th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam–China diplomatic ties, and the traditional Lunar New Year of the two nations.
The concert was jointly directed by the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, and co-organised by the China National Opera House, the Ho Guom Theatre, the Department of International Cooperation under the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi Opera House, and the China Cultural Centre in Hanoi.
Featuring renowned artists from both countries, the programme comprised two parts with a well-structured and engaging artistic arrangement, guiding the audience from traditional Chinese music to melodies praising Vietnam–China friendship, as well as excerpts from classic world operas.
According to the organisers, the concert once again underscored the spirit of “friendly neighbourliness,” conveying a profound message of peace, cooperation, and shared development./.
Vietnam, China open “green lane” for ambulance transfer on humanitarian grounds
At around 16:20 the same day, the lane was activated at Bac Luan II Bridge area to allow an ambulance bearing license plate 15N-049.80 to transfer 63-year-old Chinese man Zhang Huizhong, who had suffered a cerebral infarction, to China for immediate treatment.
