TMT inaugurates truck production line in Hung Yen

Hung Yen (VNA) – The TMT Motor Joint Stock Company inaugurated a truck production line with an annual capacity of 20,000 units in the northern province of Hung Yen on February 29.

The company also signed an agreement with the Chinese Sinotruck Group on manufacturing, assembling and distributing trucks and passenger buses.

It aims to produce and export commercial trucks to the regional and international markets.

The same day, TMT reached a cooperation agreement with the Bank for Development of Vietnam (BIDV), under which the bank will provide financial assistance to TMT’s operations.-VNA

Japanese retailers step up business activities in Vietnam

Aeon – Japan's largest retail group – plans to increase the number of hypermarkets, also known as "Super Supermarket (SSM)" and general merchandise stores (GMS) in Vietnam from 12 as of February 2025 to about 100 stores by 2030.
