Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines has delayed flights between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) on October 2 evening due to impact of Storm Mitag in the Northeast Asian region.

The national flag carrier announced that Flights VN422 and VN426 from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to the RoK’s Busan city, along with Flights VN423 and VN427 from Busan to HCM City, will take off on October 3 morning, instead of October 2 evening as initially planned.

Flights VN408, VN416, VN440, VN430 and VN441 from HCM City, Da Nang city and Cam Ranh city to Incheon city of the RoK will also be delayed for several hours.

Passengers on the rescheduled flights will receive support from the carrier in line with regulations.

On September 30, Vietnam Airlines also rescheduled flights to and from Shanghai Pudong International Airport of China due to the storm.

It recommended passengers who plan to travel to or form the airports affected by this storm in Taipei (Taiwan, China), Busan and Seoul (the RoK), and Shanghai, Hangzhou and Changzhou (China) to keep a close watch on weather changes and stay updated on information from the carrier.
