Vietnam Airlines has announced that it will open two new air routes to Tokyo, Japan in July, according to Hanoi Moi newspaper.

The national flag carrier said in a May 15 announcement that the air route between Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) and Tokyo Haneda Airport will be launched on July 1 while flights connecting central Da Nang city with Tokyo Narita Airport will be put into operation on July 16.

It will use Airbus A321 for the flights.

On the occasion, the carrier is running a discount ticket programme. A Hanoi-Haneda return ticket purchased domestically costs 6.315 million VND (299 USD). The price will be available from now until June 15.

Meanwhile, each return ticket for Da Nang-Narita flights, worth 7.375 million VND (349 USD), will be effective until December 31.

The same day, Vietjet Air also announced discounted ticket prices for its new Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore air route.-VNA
