Vietnam and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) signedan aviation transport agreement, allowing airlines from both sides topenetrate deeper into the respective aviation markets.
The deal was signed in Hanoi on October 30 by Vietnam ’s DeputyMinister of Transport Nguyen Van Cong and DPRK Deputy Minister ofForeign Trade Ri Myong San.
Comprising 23 articles and one appendix, the agreement replaced the one signed on November 14, 1977.
It is expected to meet the travel demand of both peoples, contributingto the traditional friendship between the two countries.
Earlier, representatives from the Ministry of Transport and DPRKMinistry of Foreign Trade held a meeting to discuss how to furtherenhance bilateral cooperation on aviation in the future.-VNA
