Moscow (VNA) – The Vietnamese Government has sent medical masks to the Vietnamesecommunity in central Russia to help them cope with complicated developments ofthe COVID-19 pandemic in Russia.
The maskswere transported to Russia on a recent flight of the Vietnam Airlines to bring Vietnamesein Russia back to Vietnam.
The Vietnam ConsulateGeneral in Ekaterinburg on June 3 handed over part of the masks to Vietnamese associationsin the city. It will continue to distribute masks to Vietnamese living in otherlocalities in the region.

Implementing the direction of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Vietnamese relevant agencies, representative agencies in Europe and Africa and national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on May 23 and 24 coordinated with host authorities to conduct flighs bringing home safely over 300 Vietnamese citizens.
