Jakarta (VNA) – Vietnam’s U23 national football team, led by head coach Kim Sang-sik, arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia on July 14, gearing up to defend their crown at the 2025 ASEAN U23 Championship.

The tournament, running from July 15-29, sees Vietnam aiming to solidify its regional dominance as champions of the past two editions.

Carrying high expectations, the team is grouped in Group B alongside U23 Laos and U23 Cambodia.

Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 at Patriot Candrabhaga stadium in Bekasi, followed by a showdown with Cambodia on July 22 at Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Jakarta./.
