Construction has started on Vinpearl Hai Giang with a total investmentof 3.5 trillion VND (166 million USD), the biggest-ever tourist complexin central Binh Dinh province, creating a tourism landmark for thelocality and the whole central region.
The projectof Hai Giang Joint-Stock Co., an affiliate of Vingroup, covers an areaof 656ha in the south of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone. It is bordered by thenon-tariff area to the north, Phuong Mai Mountain to the west and theeast, and the East Sea to the south.
Designed to bean ecotourism site, the site includes an 18-hole golf course, afive-star hotel and resort villas, an administration centre, culturalworks and hotels and apartments, an entertainment park, a cable carsystem and other auxiliary facilities.
The 1.5kmcable car system, the first in the province, is being built in Quy NhonCity from Mui Tan to Phuong Mai peninsula. It is expected to becompleted and come into operation in 2017.
Theprovince, which has a coastline of 134km and blessed with numerouslandscape and beaches, is focusing on promoting traditional culturalactivities and its coastal area to create a major push for its tourismsector.-VNA
