VN, Uzbekistan boost cooperation in aquaculture

The Agriculture and Rural Development Department in Bac Ninh province signed a cooperative agreement to develop aquaculture with the Uzbekistan-Vietnam Friendship Association during their guest’s two day visit from April 11.

Under the agreement, Syrdaryaprovince in Uzbekistan will give an undisclosed area of water toinvestors and specialists from Bac Ninh province to develop anaquaculture industry.

Syrdarya will also bear all the working and living costs for the Vietnamese investors and their workers.

Bac Ninh province will be responsible for selecting and sendingexperienced businesses and specialists to Syrdarya province.

After visiting two aquaculture areas in Gia Binh and Thuan Thanhdistricts, the Vice President of the Uzbekistan-Vietnam FriendshipAssociation found the models of aquaculture used in Bac Ninh extremelyeffective.-VNA

Vietjet shifts domestic check-in at Tan Son Nhat from January 13

During the recent New Year 2026 holiday peak, Vietjet added 380 flights, equivalent to nearly 78,000 additional seats, on many key domestic routes linking Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with destinations such as Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang and Da Lat.
