The November 25 meeting notonly discussed this year’s coordination between the two organisations,but also signed a plan for 2014.
According to the programmenext year, the two organisations will continue to step up communicationsactivities to educate local women on the laws and policies of the Partyand State on ethnic groups, religion, as well as guiding them to dropoutdated habits and practices, and build happy families.
Furthermore, they will conduct a survey on the daily life of ethnicreligious women to serve the building of a project on increasing thewomen’s involvement in economic development and poverty reduction in theCentral Highlands.
In 2013, the propagation mission has beenfostered via suitable and diverse forms, thus reaching millions ofethnic minority women in the Central Highlands.
In addition,women’s unions at all levels have organised dozens of training courseson ethnic and religious affairs for their officials.
During the same year, Women’s Union chapters in the region have admitted nearly 2,400 new ethnic members.-VNA
