Vietnam Investment Construction and Trading Joint Stock Corporation(Constrexim) on May 30 began the construction of its five-star IndochinaInternational Hotel in the tourism town of Sa Pa, Lao Cai northernprovince.
This is the first five-star hotel inSa Pa, with investment capital of over 287 billion VND (13 millionUSD). It is also the first hotel built in line withenvironmentally-friendly standards.
Once completed,the hotel will cater for both domestic and foreign visitors with 156well-equipped rooms, meeting facilities and swimming pools.
Besides this project, there are a number of property projects withinvestment capital amounting to hundreds of billions of VND running inSa Pa district.
According to Lao Cai province’s2030 master plan, Sa Pa district will double its area to over4,000 hectares. It will be an urban area with nine functional sections,including resorts and tourism centres.-VNA
