Hanoi (VNA) – The International Agriculture Trade Fair AgroViet 2025 opened on November 12 in Hanoi, bringing together more than 100 domestic and international participants, including enterprises, cooperatives, and representatives from 23 provinces and cities across Vietnam, as well as businesses from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, and China.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, said AgroViet 2025 aims to expand export markets, boost domestic agricultural consumption, connect supply and demand, promote branding, and enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products in the global value chain.
The exhibition features nearly 250 booths showcasing a wide variety of agricultural products. Key highlights include Vietnam’s major export items in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, OCOP products rated three stars or higher, regional specialities, handicrafts, and organic and eco-friendly goods. It also includes modern machinery, equipment, and materials for agricultural production and post-harvest processing.
A series of conferences, seminars, international business-matching sessions, and digital trade promotion activities are also being held, along with an experiential space for regional cuisines and e-commerce demonstrations connecting producers, enterprises, and consumers.
Notably, this year’s event features a collaboration with TikTok Vietnam to host livestream sessions promoting and selling agricultural products. The programme also guides enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP producers in developing e-commerce channels and adopting digital technologies to expand market reach, contributing to the integration of Vietnamese agriculture into the digital economy.
The AgroViet 2025 will run until November 16./.
