Australian alumni business people have been urged to strengthen their connections to open more opportunities for cooperation and development in the future
The alumni were brought together at the Australian Alumni Business Exhibition in Hanoi on May 5 where they showcased their products and services in various areas, including manufacturing, education, tourism, retail and consultancy.
The exhibition is expected to support Australian alumni to develop their businesses while connecting them to the Vietnamese and international community.
"This event is very helpful as it helps to link businesses, promote businesses’ names and develop network," Dinh Trong Nghia, CEO of Vietnam Motor Paint JSC, said.
"I hope activities like this will be expanded in order to support businesses and start-up movement will become more practical, contributing to the development of the Australian alumni community in particular and young entrepreneurs in general," he added.
As part of the event, a special discussion where participants told stories about their business failure helped the alumni gain more experiences in operating their business start-ups.
A similar event will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on May 12. -VNA
