Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – The Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting (AMM) on the situation in Cambodia and Thailand, originally scheduled for December 16, has been postponed to December 22 at the request of Thailand.
The Foreign Ministry of Malaysia in a media advisory on December 15 said the Special AMM will be chaired by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan in Malaysia’s capacity as the current ASEAN Chair.
Earlier on December 11, Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim, Cambodian PM Hun Manet and Thai PM Anutin Charnvirakul decided to convene the special AMM to address the situation between Cambodia and Thailand./.
