Danish Ambassador to Vietnam John Nielsen on March 14 presented 10,000USD, sourced from Denmark’s royal fund, to KOTO, a non-profithospitality training centre in Vietnam.
At thehandover ceremony, John Nielsen expressed hope that the assistance willcontribute to building self-confidence for disadvantaged young peopleand help them find jobs in the future.
KOTOfounder, Jimmy Pham pledged to use the funding to provide teenagers withfree vocational training and equip them with basic skills to be able towork in the hotel and restaurant service sector.
With branches in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City , KOTO has helpedprovide basic vocational skills for more than 300 Vietnameseteenagers.-VNA
