A friendship club for Vietnam, Spain and Latin American countries made its first public appearance in Ho Chi Minh City on June 2.

HCM City (VNA) – A friendship club for Vietnam, Spain and Latin American countries madeits first public appearance in Ho Chi Minh City on June 2.

It looks to help promote cooperation in economics, culture, tourism andeducation between Vietnam’s individuals, organisations and businesses with theirpeers in Spain and other Latin American countries.

Nguyen Quoc Viet, Standing Vice President of theclub, said the club will have non-profit activities, introduce socio-economicand cultural achievements of Spanish-speaking countries to Vietnam and viceversa, organise people-to-people exchanges, and connect trade, cultural,tourist and educational activities.
