Germany’s dual training programme enrolls Vietnamese students

HCM City (VNA) –
The College of BusinessAdministration for Managers (CBAM) and SBH, a non-governmental educationcorporation from Germany, began enrolling students for a dual training programmespecializing in restaurant and hotel services in Ho Chi Minh City on May 10.

The programme is designed for Vietnameseyoungsters aged between 18 and 27, who want to pursue education in Germany.

CBAM Rector Do Thi Kim Lien said the programmeprovides practical knowledge and skills for students.

In the context of the fourth industrialrevolution (Industry 4.0), human resources with high skills and qualificationshave become an urgent need of most Vietnamese enterprises, she said.

Therefore, the German’s dual training programmehas attracted a lot of attention from students and their parents.

Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce andIndustry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc said the programme enables students to access tothe world’s biggest economies including Germany.

After graduation, students are guaranteed to getjobs at international restaurants, hotels and high-end resort areas in Germany.

Particularly, students will be allowed to worklegally and reside in the long run in Germany, enjoying incomes andpreferential treatments like German citizens.

On the occasion, CBAM presented 200 bicyclesworth over 340 million VND (almost 15,000 USD) to poor students from thenorthern province of Phu Tho.-VNA

Vietnam delivers 3 tonnes of aid supplies to Myanmar earthquake victims

The aid package includes antibiotics, digestive medications, cold and flu remedies, and basic healthcare equipment like blood pressure monitors, blood glucose metres, bandages, and disinfectants.
