– Party General Secretary To Lam on January 27 urged the northern province of Quang Ninh to maintain its position as one of Vietnam’s most dynamic localities and gradually become a model of green development, modernity, innovation and international integration, deserving the trust of the Party and the people nationwide.
Addressing a working session with the provincial Party Committee, General Secretary Lam commended the Party organisation, authorities and people of Quang Ninh for the achievements recorded in recent years. – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on January 27 visited and offered encouragement to officials and employees at the Quang Ninh Public Administration Service Centre.

– Politburo member and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai paid a courtesy call on visiting General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith on January 27 afternoon.
Hoai extended her warmest congratulations to the LPRP on the successful organisation of its 12th National Congress. Addressing a high-level open debate on “Reaffirming international rule of law: Pathways to reinvigorating peace, justice, and multilateralism,” held by the UN Security Council (UNSC) on January 26, Nguyen shared the concerns expressed by UN leaders and many countries over unprecedented challenges facing multilateralism and international law. These include heightened geopolitical tensions, armed conflicts in numerous regions, violations and selective application of international law, as well as the use or threat of use of force in international relations.
