- As many as4,733 traffic accidents occurred nationwide killing 2,761 people and injured3,078 others in five months between December 15, 2021 and May 14, 2022, theOffice of the National Traffic Safety Committee said on May 24.

During the period, the number of cases was down by 800, or14.46 percent while the number of deaths and the injured decreased by 30 and875, equivalent to 1.07 percent and 22.14 percent, respectively, from the sameperiod last year. Read full story

Search efforts continue for Vietnamese fallen soldiers in Cambodia

During the 2026-2027 dry season, Teams K70, K71, K72 and K73 will continue their search and repatriation mission, striving to fulfil the target based on 185 pieces of information concerning 761 graves. Each team is expected to collect at least 100 sets of remains during each deployment.
