Nguyen Dinh Trung expressed his sincere gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and Party General Secretary To Lam for their trust and pledged to fulfill the duties entrusted by the Party, further advance Hue’s development with a renewed position, opportunities, vision, and goals, and create strong momentum to transform the city into a “green, smart, and culturally rich” urban centre.

Hue (VNA) – Nguyen Dinh Trung, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Dak Lak province, was appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee of the central city of Hue for the 2025–2030 tenure under a decision of the Politburo announced on October 17.

Addressing the event, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Chairman of its Organisation Commission Le Minh Hung said Trung is a well-trained cadre with strong experience in Party building and state management. Hung also lauded Trung's decisive working style, close engagement with grassroots levels, and ability to foster unity. Throughout his previous positions, Trung has consistently fulfilled his assigned duties.

Leaders at all levels within the Party Organisation of Hue city were asked to uphold unity and support Trung to successfully perform responsibilities entrusted to him by the Politburo.

Hung expressed his confidence that, in his new role, Trung will closely follow the guidance of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, particularly in implementing key tasks outlined at the city's recent Party Congress.
