Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has asked officers and workers who are working at the construction site of Can Tho Bridge to ensure the progress of the work in order complete the construction before March 30.

While visitingconstruction units for the bridge on February 19, the PM praised efforts by theMy Thuan Project Management Board, contractors and workers over the past time.

The operation of the Can Tho Bridge will facilitate the Mekong Deltaregion’s socio-economic development, he stressed.

Can Tho Bridge is thecountry’s longest cable-stayed bridge which is built on the Hau River with atotal investment capital of over 300 million USD./.
