Hanoi (VNA) – Four enterprises from Quang Ninh province have been recognised at the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025, held in Hanoi by the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism in coordination with the Van Hoa newspaper.

The annual awards, regarded as the most prestigious in the tourism sector, honour outstanding businesses, organisations, training institutions and media agencies. They also reflect the strong recovery of Vietnam’s tourism industry, which has emerged as one of the fastest-growing globally following the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, Quang Ninh saw four of its tourism operators named among the 113 honourees nationwide. Vietnam Cruise Investment and Services JSC was awarded in the category of “Best Waterway Tourist Transport Company”; Saigon Ha Long Hotel in “Top 10 Best Four-Star Hotels”; Vinpearl Resort & Spa Ha Long in “Top 10 Best Five-Star Hotels”; and Lang Chai Ha Long Restaurant in “Best Restaurant for Tourists.”

The recognition highlights the sustained efforts of Quang Ninh’s tourism enterprises to improve service quality and adapt through challenges such as natural disasters and the pandemic. The province has witnessed steady growth in visitor numbers, longer stays, higher spending, and a notable increase in international arrivals. In recent years, Quang Ninh has also gained reputation as a destination for high-end travellers, including millionaires and billionaires.

Local authorities have attributed this success to proactive policies and close cooperation with the tourism business community. Efforts have focused on leveraging natural and cultural assets, developing signature products, enhancing service quality, diversifying visitor experiences, building a strong destination brand, and applying technology in management, promotion and marketing./.
