Vinh Phuc (VNA)– The Red River Delta Industry & Trade Fair opened in the northern provinceof Vinh Phuc on November 29. 

The fair features 350 stalls showcasing industrialproducts, handicrafts, local specialties, consumer goods, household appliancesand farm produce. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director ofthe provincial Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen The Truong said the fairis part of the 2018 national trade programme held by the Ministry of Industryand Trade. 

The event offers participating businesses achance to promote trade, popularise brands and expand markets. 

It also introduces Vinh Phuc province’sachievements in industrial development, agriculture, trade, services andtourism to visitors at home and abroad. 

The fair will last till December 5.-VNA

Banks need to promote data analysis to minimise financial crime

The SBV has also recently issued Decision No. 67/QD-NHNN on a digital transformation project aimed at deploying core utilities for the development of the banking sector, ensuring connection with Project 06. Under the project, the SBV requires financial institutions to use the national database on population, identification and electronic authentication for banking activities, thereby supporting digital transformation and enhancing the effectiveness of crime prevention.
