Reference exchange rate down 7 VND
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,183 VND/USD, down 7 VND from the previous day.

The opening-hour rates at commercial banks were down compared to the same hour on December 20.
At 8:20am, BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,760 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,040 VND/USD, both down 30 VND from December 21.
Vietcombank also reduced both rates by 30 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,730 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,040 VND/USD./.
