Reference exchange rate down 8 VND on October 8

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,133 VND/USD on October 8, down 8 VND from the previous day.

At 8:00 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks also saw slight fluctuations.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,178 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,398 VND/USD, unchanged from the October 7 morning session.

Meanwhile, the buying rate at BIDV stood at 26,175 VND/USD, down 5 VND, and the selling rate at 26,389 VND/USD, down 9 VND./.

Bad debt settlement fully benefits from new policy from H2 2026
