Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,114 VND/USD on October 14, up 2 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,370 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,858 VND/USD.
At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks mixed fluctuations.
Vietcombank raised the buying rate by 5 VND to 26,149 VND/USD, and cut the selling rate by 15 VND to 26,369 VND/USD.
BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,150 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 26,369 VND/USD, up 15 VND and 2 VND, respectively, from the October 13 morning session./.
