Reference exchange rate continues to drop on October 9

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,130 VND/USD on October 9, down 3 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,130 VND/USD on October 9, down 3 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,387 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,874 VND/USD.

At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,166 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,386 VND/USD, both down 12 VND from the October 8 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,177 VND/USD, up 2 VND, and the selling rate at 26,386 VND/USD, down 3 VND./.

Retail petrol prices rise in November 13 adjustment
